Castle Kids spent the majority of 2011 writing and recording their debut EP. After a year of hard work, here is the Long Live Castle Kids EP.

"A duo from California, Castle Kids is an instrumental and ambient music ensemble that is as unique and eccentric as their title suggests. Blending a tone somewhere between post-rock and trip-hop, but with a sound much more variant and ever-changing, their music really shapes a fantastic and interesting experience for the listener. This is their first official EP release, with plans of a full album in 2012. With such a unique atmosphere to their music, it’s very hard not to get entranced by the melodic and soothing nature of tracks like ‘Ancient Hymns’ and ‘Life in the Castle’. Perfect music to have on in the background while reading a good book, relaxing after a long day, or just chilling out while a thunderstorm rages outside."
